Juniper Hotel & Bistro: A Quick Review Of Facilities & Dining

Juniper hotel & Bistro is an amazing option for those who are looking to stay near the Banff. Its unique selling point is its bistro, one of the most scenic restaurants in Banff. We stayed at the Juniper Hotel & Bistro in the winters and loved waking up to the sights of snow covered Mount Rundle right from our balcony. When you are visiting Banff, there are plenty of reasons to book a stay at Juniper Hotel & Bistro.

Let’s check everything you need to know about the facilities, amenities and food at Juniper hotel & bistro…

Location of Juniper Hotel & Bistro

  • Address: 1 Juniper Way
  • Neighborhood: Off Trans Canada Near Mt. Norquay

Juniper Hotel is about 2 kms from Banff Avenue and 6 kms from Mount Norquay Ski Resort. In comparison to other hotels in Banff, its elevated position gives guests a peaceful experience. Certainly, the views of Mount Norquay are amazing from the hotel. Keep in mind that if you would like to walk to Banff Avenue it will take at least 25-30 minutes. Banff Avenue is the main street in the town of Banff where you will find restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops. Here you will also find shops for rentals.

Beautiful Rooms & Amenities

There are a few room, suites & cabin options at Juniper Hotel. In addition to the standard rooms, Juniper Hotel offers deluxe valley rooms with private balconies or deck. The standard rooms are available with one king-size or two double beds and are great for people who are especially travelling on budget.

The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, comfortable and modern. During our stay at the Juniper Hotel, we opted for a standard room facing Mount Norquay. All the rooms feature wifi, mini fridge, safe, hair dryers & other amenities.

In case, you are planning to travel in a group, you can opt for Woodland Suite, it has two separate bedrooms with one queen and two double beds which easily accommodates a family of four. You will also find premiere rooms called- “penthouse” suites which are the three-bedroom sky view suites. And, of course, the penthouse suite comes with mountain views.

Undoubtedly, the best room at Juniper Hotel is the Cabin which is excellent for a large group or families. The Cabin is set in the forest and believe me it feels like home. There is a separate closed-off bedroom, a full kitchen, a living area with a fireplace, and a dining table.

Juniper Bistro

Craving an amazing breakfast with views? Head out to the Juniper Bistro at the Juniper Hotel. The USP of Juniper Bistro lies in its landscape-inspired and plant-rich dishes. Some standout dishes are the Rabbit Benny with buffalo mozzarella. You can also try its Bison Benny and Sundried Tomato Avocado Toast. This makes it a highly affordable eatery for budget-conscious travelers. Not only the guests but all the visitors to Banff can enjoy a meal here. We always recommend making reservations ahead of time for dining at Juniper Bistro Banff. Keep in mind that breakfast is not included when booking your stay. It may come free with your room, depending on your selection. Thus, talk to the hotel staff when making reservations.
